Acts 13:3 says, “So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on (Paul and Barnabas) and sent them off.” The people of Midway Church in Aubrey, Texas, saw this verse put into action on October 28, 2007, when we sent off some of our own at the close of our annual mission’s conference. Actually we “feasted and prayed”! Our theme this year was Fill Us Up, Send Us Out, and we were challenged to “not merely listen to the word… (but) do what it says”. (James 1:22)

Pastor John Henry Theisen is a 1984 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Pastor John met and married Kimberly (1983 Graduate) while attending BBC. Pastor has served on church staffs in Oklahoma and Galveston, Texas. He also served as Sr. Pastor of Grace Baptist (Odessa, TX) from 1989-1998. He has been serving at Midway since the fall of 1998.
